OCTOBER IS ABOUT TO BE LIT!!!
Literature that is...
Dear Parents and Scholars,

As we begin the month of October, we will also begin our exploration into the wonderful world of literature.  The first novel we will be reading is "Tuck Everlasting" by Natalie Babbit. The novel raises the intriguing question, "What if you could live forever?"  In order for your scholar to fully participate in the class discussions, please ensure that your scholar has their copy of "Tuck Everlasting" by Monday, October 1st. Weekly reading and homework will be assigned from the book, so please continue to check the website and your scholar's organizer for updates on assignments as we read the book throughout the next few months. Your assistance in monitoring your scholar's progress in the reading and homework is also greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance and I look forward to taking this literary journey with you and your scholar!

Ms. Lawrence
