Ivy Academia Summer Reading List

This summer (2010), all of our students will be required to read a number of novels during their time away from school. Students must read ALL of these by the time their classes begin in September. These books can be purchased, or they can be checked out at the library. Students can even form a book club and pass them around!

During the first week of school, teachers will assess their students, which might include discussions, quizzes, tests, and reports. Students must be prepared. We encourage students to take notes as they read the books and to bring these notes to class the first day, ready to go.

The list for various classes is as follows. Please note that all classes have at least three novels, and that some classes have included several novels for those students hoping to be in the Honors classes.

Important: Books are noted by the grade level you will be going into in the fall, NOT the grade level you just completed!
